MP370 CF Card

Hello,

Can anyone confirm that the maximum size for compact flash card for siemens MP370 panel (windows CE 3.0) is 512 Mb? We need to buy external storage for trends, but would not want to buy 512 Mb card if there is possibility to use a larger size card.

I have read that:

Windows CE 3.0 (MP370):

Memory cards with capacities of up to 512 MB.
USB sticks cannot be used.

Windows CE 5.0 (MP377):

Memory cards with capacities of up to 2 GB.
USB sticks can be used.
No difference between USB connections. There is no guarantee that "Storage Card USB" or "Storage Card USB2" will be assigned to a stick.

Is there a limitation or you can use larger size CF cards for MP370? Larger number of data would be recorded so I would prefer to use larger if possible for longer time recording.

Hello,

For HMI MP270 the size limit is 2GB, no more of this, I imagine that the size for MP370 is the same.
