Dear Srs

I have an old S5 PLC with two expansion racks joined by IM 316. I need to add a new rack with other IM 316 with two cards.

I only have to connect the new IM 316. I have been reading and I think that from the point of view of Step 5, I can use the new channels. I don´t have to set anything in Step 5.

Is that true ?
