Hi Guys,
I have a situation here whereby DCS is sending a hardwired signal pulse as a time synchronization every night at 12am.
Therefore when I receive the pulse I will set my PLC time to 12am as well.
But the problem is my FTView Alarm and Event time does not follow PLC time, instead it follows window time.
And I cannot change the system time in the FTView studio.
I know I can use Logix5000 Clock Update Tool to set the PLC time follow back to the HMI window time, it means the hardwired from DCS serve no meaning as eventually
my PLC and HMI does not follow DCS time synchronization signal.
Any other way that I can make my FTView studio follow PLC time ?
Thanks

Re: ControlLogix Time Synchronization
Which one FTview you used, FTview SE or ME
IF you used FTview ME with PanelView Plus you can assign at Global Connections at FTview Development and assign remote time and remote year connected to your logic at PLC then windows time at HMI will be synchronization.
and if you used FTview SE you can create VBscript
