Need help: different versions of STUDIO and PLC firmware

Hello All.

In the begining - I am a siemens programmer///
It's a first time I use AB.

I just need to connect to PLC and make some changes on frequency inverter parameters.

Situation:
1. I install full RS Studio 5000 v28.01 (works normaly).
2. Get the project for PLC in open mode from manufacturer of equipment.
3. Made connection to PLC via RSLogix.
4. When open project to Studio, it says the project configured for version 21.03 and I have to install same version of Studio or change controller version in project.
5. I changed controller version in project.
6. When I set PLC on-line, it says unable to connect - version of offline project and controller's firmware not compatible:

Then the case - update controller firmware or install support for this firmware.

Who can explain me, what is better in this case and where can I find this files?


My equipment:
- RS studio v28.01.
- PLC 1769-L18ERM-BB1B/A v21.11
- 2198-H008-ERS inverter
- Project made for RS Studio v21.03
- Ethernet connection for PLC

you must install RsStudio 5000 v21 to connect PLC

... or update firmware as a last resort if the machine is not running and you must make a change. A very minor group of unlucky people have had bad experiences with firmware updates and 'bricked' their controllers.

Best option is as suggested by @Dedy aiza
