Does somebody have link to activated studio 5000 V30

Hi, I do not have the activation but I know how to restart the Grace period.

In windows, you have to activate the view of hiding items.
After that go Local C.
There is a hiding Folder called Program Data.
Then RockwellAutomation folder and after that Factory Talk automation.
Delete de RNL files and you have a 7 days again.


C:\ProgramData\Rockwell Automation\FactoryTalk Activation

I downloaded version 31 and its installation stopped in mid and could not be completed
v32 installed correctly but does not open properly takes too long
I ended up removing v32 FROM MY PC

What files do you have to activate? Usually change the serial number on the hard drive and upload the ftasystem.lic in C: \ Users \ Public \ Documents \ Rockwell Automation \ Activations

I am not sure i understand you correctly - pardon my ignorance here. Changing the hard drive serial is a bit straight forward but what do we upload in ftasystem.lic? is is that we have to edit the ftasystem.lic to include the serial number above(The one on the hard drive)? Moore information could be on help to some of us newbies. Thanks in advance

Hey. I used HardDiskSerialNumberChanger to change the serial number of the hard drive. The serial indicated which was registered in the .lic file After replacing the file and everything works fine
