1769-SM2 & Compact Logix L30ER

Hello guys,

If some of you who are familiar with CompactLogix series well can give me some advice?
I have CPU Compact Logix 1769-L30ER and Modbus module 1769-SM2.
I need to mate them to implement Modbus RTU Master for 3rd party Modbus Slaves.
I've read the manual for the module and found that there're some restrictions to use Explicit Messaging service (needed to work with Modbus RTU Master functions on the module) for L20 and L30 processors (it's said no available on those processors). So now I have L30ER. Is it the same as L30?
Are the restrictions the same for L30ER as for L30? It's not mentioned anywhere about the L30ER.
Maybe some of you know know if it works with L30ER?
I cannot test this since these equipment was assigned for the project only and I don't have it on habds to test, unfortunately.
