Cj2 working with factory io via A 4750 module

I was hoping someone could help me get my cj2 plc using NPN configuration to work with factory io via a 4750 module. I wired the PLC to the module using the generic wiring diagram on the factory io website. The connection going from the output of the module to the input of the plc is giving that plc input a constant signal. Any help would be appreciated.
