How do you know which interface to use, is it safe to just hook up and see what happens?
Had an old TS-Adapter (MPI) that I didn't manage to get going (no COM-port, USB adapter didn't help).
Don't want to break my recently purchased USB programmer.
It doesn't say either on the CPU313. The cut off cable was not purple, which is common for Profibus
Anyone?
Have spent a lot of time about this on Google, haven't found any answers, my current impression is that it can be either.
CPU313 Profibus or MPI?

connect your adapter to CPU, go to SetPG/PC Interface, choose your adapter ".auto", go to properties , press "start network detection"
