I'm rather new in siemens, normally working with Allen Bradley.
I'm upgrading a machine and I'm switching from Step7 to TIA portal.
I have a device that is communicating through profibus. I have the GDS file, and added this.
I know have this. So If I'm correct I got the addresses of 12 words to read or write to control or get feedback from the device. I have the list what each bit in the 12 words mean. So I think I can create a 'telegram' that will hopefully do what I want.
The thing I'm stuck on is, how do I get my generated/created word in the corresponding addresses of the device? I have for example the I address 16..23. How do I write a word to the 16?
