I have several machines running on NJ CPUs, with axes controlled by MC_CamIn functions with various profiles. You can follow this link for an example.
I was asked if it'd be possible to make small adjustments to the profile points, while the cam profile is being executed. Ie: the motor is running that profile with a 0-40mm amplitude, the operators would like to be able to manually increase it by 0.1 or 0.01 to make fine adjustments as the machine runs, without having to stop and executing MC_CamOut > MC_GenerateCamTable > MC_CamIn all the time. I don't have much experience with Omron PLCs, so this might be something relatively easy that I'm just missing. Is there a way to do this? Can I simply execute an MC_GenerateCamTable instruction while the profile is being used by the servo drives?
