Hi,
I have an old system that was changed from communicating over profibus to use the TCP/IP network connection. This works fine but brings a license popup every ten minutes or so.
The message is Caution: you do not have a license. Softnet-PG IE Windows 98, NT 4.0 Order #: 6GK1704-1PW30-3AA0
I think I need a extra license file, possibly A9SNEX90
I have tried playing with Sim_EKb on a seperate windows 10 machine but I cant seem to create a yellow disk image successfully.
This is running in a VMware virtual machine so if someone has a yellow disk image I can attach that directly to the VM.
So hopefully someone out there can point me in the right direction to get this resolved.
Thanks,

Thanks CoMod.
That image came up with an error see below. Also can you explain the process of creating the yellow disk to me. Whenever I try to do it I get a write error. Basically I start with winimage and create a blank image. Then I use the EKB tool to write the yellow disk to that image but it always fails with a write error.
Link to screen shot below.

Re: WinCC R4.02 Windows NT - Yellow Disk Image
you use real floppy ? or Image for virtual drive ?
Impossible to create "Siemens bad tracks" for virtuale floppy drive
Sim_EKB_2006_11_14a.zip

For NT try Siemens.exe from old keyset

Yeah virtual floppy on Vmware workstation pro.
That Sim_EKB_2006_11_14a software was what I needed.
Ran that SiemensEng.exe on the NT VM and added the license I needed.
Test environment looks good. I think this is a winner.
Will confirm in a weeks time.
Really appreciate the help with this old stuff.
Machine will be decommissioned in the near future so wasn't worth a full upgrade.
