[?]: Problem in replacing CPU 6ES7 315-3AF03

Post by ELYAS_GH »

Hello,
In a project, due to a CPU issue, I had to replace it and installed a new CPU.
The old CPU is 315-1AF03 and the new CPU is 315-3AF03.
PCS7 V5.2
I downloaded the project without any hardware changes or changes in logic, but the process does not work correctly.
I replaced the old CPU again, downloaded the project, and the process works fine.
What could be the reason?

Hello, you are right. I said it was new because it was available as a spare in the warehouse and was unused.
CPU does not stop and no fault occurs.

Replace PLC in Hardware Config and upload new configuration

sounds like you have a change in scan time, you will have to move the logic into timed interrupt OB's to fix this issue, or modify the logic.
