How to find or use parameter instance feature in TIA PORTAL ?

Hi,

I'm using TIA PORTAL V14, and I've been following a youtube tutorial about functions and function blocks.

And the tutor reached the point to use parameter instance and I tried to use it but it doesn't appear.

Is there a problem with the software I'm using ?

I just installed the main STEP 7 V14 SP1 Professional and S7-PLCSIM V14 SP1.

Hello,

it could be that you have not the parameter instances in V14

And never heard about Parameterinstances - we use FBs and Multiinstances - like the third example
