See http://support.automation.siemens.com/W ... n/15208817
The F-Configuration tool is part of S7-Distributed Safety and S7 F-Systems.
It provides you with the failsafe modules for Step 7 Hardware Config.

In view of the fact that the release of new failsafe modules does not always coincide with new releases of S7-Distributed Safety or S7 F-Systems packages, the individual versions are herewith provided for downloading.

S7-Distributed Safety V5.4 + Service Pack 1
http://support.automation.siemens.com/W ... lusSP1.ZIP 50457 KB
Service Pack 1 for S7-Distributed Safety V5.4 provides the following improvements.

Access protection:

In conjunction with Step 7 V5.4, the password is now also queried for the following actions:
When saving and compiling a hardware configuration (only the safety program is protected
against changes)
When inserting (new) F blocks into the safety program
When renaming, cutting, moving and deleting F blocks from the safety program
When deleting the offline block container
When deleting the folder "S7 Program"
When opening object properties of F blocks
When editing object properties of an F block
A read mode can be activated when querying a password. This allows, for example, F blocks to be opened without having to enter the password for the safety program. It is then not possible to modify the block.

Logbook for the safety program:

The following actions are included in the log

Modification of the hardware configuration in Hardware Config

Saving of an F block in the offline safety program

Modification of the setting in the dialog "Edit F runtime groups"

Generate safety program

Deactivate safety mode

Load safety program

Load changes to the safety program

Compiler checks:

The following additional possibilities have been created.

Output of a warning if no OV bit scan has been programmed for ADD_I-, SUB_I-, MUL_I-, NEG_I- and DIV_I operations

Detection of write accesses to the F I/O from the standard user program

Detection of F block calls in blocks of the standard user program

Possibility of deactivating the updating of reference data (reduces compiler times)

Safety-related I-slave-slave communication to failsafe signal modules in the ET 200M:

In conjunction with IM153-2 (6ES7153-2BA01-0XB0, from firmware V4.0.7)
Software requirements Operating system
Windows 2000 Prof., Windows XP Prof. and Windows 2003 Server
