[?]: communicate between computer and PV600 via RS232

I can not communicate between computer and PV600 via RS232
Please help me.

As i remember (because i do not remember if it wat a PV550 or 600) but it needs to be connected to the PLC in order to be progammed with the PIC.

Or may be in the PV configution you need to disable the print port, in order to enable the rs232.

pv connect to plc via RIO
computer connect to PLC via rs232

Make sure that RS232 port on the PV is RS232. It might say RS232 on the back of the PV but it could be RS 485. I had the same problem few days ago on a PV600 2711- K6C9 PV. If it is RS485 you need to use 1747 PIC/AIC driver. With this driver u need to use a real com port .
