[?]: Centralize monitoring of Buildings

Hi!

I have request from customer for centralize monitoring from one office.
Customer is Oil company and they want to make monitoring of gas stations.
Now I don't know which solution is better; GSM (GPRS) or trough internet?
I have plan to use S7-200 to each gas station. In each gas station we will monitoring alarms of equipment.

Can anyone tell me how I can choose best solution to make connection between gas stations and main office where will be placed central PC (WinCC). Which settings I must to make for network!?

Can I make measurement of temperature with NTC or PTC temperature probes on analog input for S7200
