Request: Modsoft to Unity Pro conversion software(Schneider)

Hi folks!

I need to convert a Modsoft ladder logic to Unity Pro.
I need the tool to convert the Modsoft ladder logic. This tool is installed separately, but after installation is part of the Unity Pro software. (It's a kind of add-on to Unity Pro).

Try to use old Modsoft Converter (that is a part of Concept) and then import results to Unity Pro.

Schtiel,

Thanks, but Unity Pro doesn't handle the Concept LL984 ladder logic. It can't convert. I tried what you said.
I suppose the Modsoft to Unity Pro conversion tool is located on the Unity Pro installation CD. (I have only the demo version without the conversion tool.)
So if someone has the official Unity Pro installation CD, It would be really nice to upload the conversion tool to rapidshare.

Thanks, but I have that exact version of Unity Pro.
It doesn't have the conversion tool.
It could be that the tool is available in a separate kit?

I have an official version of Unity Pro (4 or 5 CDs). I'll look for the required tool after New Year.

There is no conversion dll on Unity 2.3 CDs :-(

I found here that conversion tools you need are available in the new version of Unity - v 3.1:

As for earlier versions - this dll is possibly available upon request to Schneider...

Dear Friends,

I also need the ModSoft to Unity Pro Conversion tool, as per previous discussion. I have gone through the Unity Pro V3.1, But didn't found the ModSoft Conversion tool. Unity Pro V3.1 has PL7 to Unity & concept to Unity conversion tool.

I need your help. If you could suggest me the best possible way to convert ModSoft Application to Unity Pro.

Dear Most,

While conversion of the Applicaition (either from modsoft or ProWorX) I recieved the following errors.

"Conversion of file C\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\ModSoft_Application.pwx
Converter DLL for this extension not found. Please install it."

Similarly error for ProWorx application.

Then I realize that I have to check Converters in the Option Management.

Further I checked and found that during installation there are two available conveters i.e. Concept & PL7.

Still I can not upgrad my application. If found through some sources that Schneider that Schneider have this conversion tool, and it not for sale, therefore this conversion tool is not available.

I only tested with proworx, I think that work well, see the pictures

I have made some tests, tries in this way
install concept xl 2.6, this program have one tool called Modsoft Convert
open your file *.ENV
save in *.PRJ
Now open another tool Concept Convert
convert your *.prj, another file appears.*.asc
open Unity and open *.asc, also in "tools" open "convert partially" this file *.asc
you see the converter working, but now, I think that it is necessary to configure i/o
