happy new yaer!

Have you none cable?

S5 system requires RS232/TTY converter. (Siemens Code: 6ES5734-1BD20)

Another way is the USB cable. But it works only with SIEMENS software for S5. I tried to use it with IBH Softec software unsuccesfully.

What sofware you have for S5??

USB Order No is: PG-USB-Kabel, A-Nr.9359-1 #106214
see here: http://www.ibhsoftec-sps.de/english/Sel ... are_S5.htm
for USB-S5-Current Loop Converter and PC-S5-Current Loop Converter

I don't know if you can make a cable yourself. I use cable PC-S5-Current Loop Converter from Siemens. I was not in want of makikg a cable myself.

So, if you want I will try to do reverse engineering on the PC-S5-Current Loop Converter that I have already and I will send you the schematic and you try to make the cable yourself. Please say me if you want it.

Also, I can give you the above usb cable in half price in comparison with the price that you will see in the link above.

Dear friend,
from my experience I tell you:
the solution is good, and cheap.
Personally I use drawing from the link S5_COM_TTY_hardware.zip
https://disk.yandex.ru/d/E7g4Fgp_heD7Uw
https://mega.nz/file/iXJVmBYZ#OBN-qw3q3 ... D5DI6JNcvI
version COM_TTY_v1, FOR SEVERAL YEARS and works fine.
About the soft I use the PG-95 (PG-2000), and is excellent .

All the best ,
