[?]: Factory Talk Activation for RsLogix 5000 v16.

Hello, has any one come across this?
RsLogix 5000 v16, which I purchased last year and activated using the floppy master disk stopped working.
When I looked at my key I noticed that it expired at the end of 2007.
Now the software wants to be activated using Factory Talk.
I have the option of locking the new key to my network card, my hard drive or a separately sold USB dongle from AB.
The problem is I've fried two network cards and the laptop I use is leased, and I don't feel like paying more money to AB, especially since I already spent US$8000+ for the software package.
I really don't want to be calling AB for re-activation every year especially since they charge you for every instance of tech support.
I'm a little bit upset with this because I couldn't use the software at a clients factory when I was on a service call.

So, has any one come up with a work around for this?
I will activate this for now and lock it to my network card.
I am very interested in peoples opinions as well.
I think we need to let our AB reps know that this is complete BS, and we shouldn't let AB permanent access to our wallets and our laptops.

RSLogix 5000 v.16 still supports both EVRSI and FactoryTalk Activation.
Try to get a EVRSI(Everlock) key from someone.
They do exist
