When you upgraded you probably didn't install back the EDS files for your particular HMI. It now seems that EDS files are very important for RsLinx to be able to display them. Also, for the newer panelviews you have to use RsLinx Enterprise to be able to communicate with them. RsLinx Enterprise is a separate application that is installed alongside the regular RsLinx (yes it's retarded....a direction AB/Rockwell seems to be a world class leader in .
Anyways check these two things out, this may resolve your problem. If not get v2.52 of RsLinx (search the forum), just in case it is a bug with the version you have.
Peace.

STEP 1: When you upgraded you probably didn't install back the EDS files for your particular HMI. It now seems that EDS files are very important for RsLinx to be able to display them.
STEP 2: RsLinx Enterprise is installed from the RsView CD along with RsView, I figured you already had RsView installed. RsLinx enterprise is needed for RsView to be able to setup factory talk comms on the HMI when you create the HMI application.
STEP 3: For the newer Panelview Pluses you have to use RsLinx Enterprise to be able to communicate with them. RsLinx Enterprise is a separate application that is installed alongside the regular RsLinx (yes it's retarded....a direction AB/Rockwell seems to be a world class leader in Smile. RsLinx will show up as enterprise but all of the capabilities of RsLinx Gateway are still there. I don't know if Gateway is any better than OEM or Pro. It seems like AB decided to remove features from the standard RsLinx and then repackage them under different versions to suck our wallets dry by giving back what we already had in the earlier versions.
STEP 4: Anyways check these two things out, this may resolve your problem. If not get v2.52 of RsLinx (search the forum), just in case it is a bug with the version you have.
Here is the newer version if you need it.
