Thank you for your book, there are a lot of industrial gadgets explained inside.
Alfredo:
The rule of adjustment cascade of regulators is that you have to begin from inner loop.
You apply set point value to the innest loop and you optimize the regulation loop.
Than you go forward to the next outer loop - now the output of the regulator of outer loop should be the setpoint for inner loop.
You optimize outer loop, than you go forward to next outer loop, until the end.
