[?]: How download program from CJ1M PLC ?

(( Hi, I'm newbie to PLC world. So please don't laugh at my stupid question. )


I am trying to connect to a CJ1M CPU21 but the PLC seems does not detect my cable connection - RS232C. These conditions have been virified by me:

The CPU setup (CJ1M CPU21) is correct.
The connecting method is Toolbus.
The com port is correct ( in this case, I set the cable port to COM1)
The 5th dip switch in the PLC was on.

When I first pluged in my cable, the COMM indicator was light up, but if I tried to connect to PLC, it switched to off.


The cable I am using has been vefified and connected successfully to the other PLC (CQ1M...), but not the series CJ1M ???

In my case, do I fortget something important ??

CJ1M, it never passed for my hands but I give a small help with manuals.

the cable for CQM is not for CJ. i think
if to obtain what you intend says some thing because also I am interested for the future.

I've found the cable serial diagram of CQM1, anyone has the rest.

The CJ1M and CQM1 actually share the same cable diagram. Look at this documentation.

with switch 4 and 5 tries on off ....


with cx programmer chooses "Auto Online" or the "Sismac Way" in manual.
search with google this manual "W393_E1_07_CJ1_Operation_Manual.pdf" +- 12 Mb
this pdf have all that you need.

your cable is for HMI Proface (if it is equal ...i did not compare...)

You can try with this :
1. Turn On the dip switch pin 5
2. Set in your CX - programmer with default setting, baudrate 19200
3. check u Comm port, it must same with auto detect in your PC COMM
4. Using sysmac way Communication
5. Try to connect again.
