[?]: WinCCFlexible writing to Excel in certain format

Post by amet »

I am using WinCC Flex 2005 and have a need to write value to Excel in a certain format. I have come across some great examples in the forum but I am having trouble re-formatting the vbs and I was wondering if someone out there could lend a hand.

The example I have come across has the data in the format of:
6/13/2008 8:02.12 material; stahl
6/13/2008 8:02.12 pressure; 12; mbar
6/13/2008 8:02.12 temperature; 56; C

The customer would like the format stamped in a .csv structured below dropping the units of measure:
Time Material Pressure Temperature
6/13/2008 8:02.12 Stahl 12 56

I am having trouble assigning the header and the data to individual cells in the spreadsheet and am wondering if anyone has done this before?

thanks a lot.

Try Resolvica OPCEx, this is an add-in software for Excel wherein it can access tags directly from WinCC Flex via OPC. With this you can easily format your report in Excel just by drag-and-drop procedure without having to worry about your VBS skills. The downside for this software is its price - it's very expensive!
