...I will need s5 to rebuild some old project, Im downloaded your file you putted here, but can you explain me for what is each of this files...sorry Im never use S5 before...can you explain me way of installation...which file need to be installed first and so..
..I will thankful to anybody for suggestions...you can e-mail me to.
P.S. Anybody have S5 to S7 converter tool, and explanation...please

First you need to install "standart" Step5 - see this link: viewtopic.php?t=6285&highlight=step5 http://plcforum.uz.ua//Si ... cracks.rar
and follow inwestor's advice. It works. After that, it depends from your application what kind of additional card is using - for example COM 1430 ( from sania links ) is for Ethernet communication card CP1430. The other COM's is belongs for some CP card. For example COM 525 is for CP525. Now you don't need all of this COM software (but it is usefull to have ). About installation: some of COMs must unrar into C:\STEP5\S5_DATA\ or instal into this directory. You can also install/unrar in other folders. And then when you start step5 go to the menuOthers ... but it's better to write in details what is your project ( I mean your S5 hardware ) and then I'll try to explain...
I want to ask you for little help about S5.
I take from my customer one file from floppy, he told me that file is last version of project which is on the S5 station. I installed S5 on my PC, but when I want to open (dearchive) file I have no anything inside...so please can you try to open this file to be shore that customer give me right thing. I think that this isn't S5 project, but please help me in this.
