[?]: MCI2 BOARD on PC

I want to know if I can use device MCI2 board with out SINUMERIK 840DI .
SIEMENS use protection for device???
I want use MCI on simple personal computer for interface PCI?????
Please help me.

Although 10+ years later but im interested in this aswell. I might try it out later.
It seems like if you have the software INSTALLED already it seems to work fine to run all applications. But upgrading or installing a new system on other hardware is blocked.
