[?]: How increase Number Of License Keys

Hi guys, like the site, I've found some great information here.

I have a question if someone could help please.
When I view a license in ALM3.0 I would like to have many licenses in one. Where it says 'Number of license keys' it always says 1.

I've made a yellow disk from the EKBRename software and it shows a Step7 license with 25 licenses, how is this done ?
Is it possible to recreate this for other licenses ?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi thanks for the reply, I have already read through most of that thread, but it seems like its just showing me how to view them.

I'd like to know how to create the multi key file from the start.
Basically I'd like one entry in ALM3.0 that shows many licences for
Step5
Step7
WinCC flex
PLCSim.

Could anyone give me some pointers please.

EKB_Install
Create PLCSIM key with serial number ****1
with ALM move this key to other drive (disk D, USB Stick...)

Create PLCSIM key with serial number ****2
with ALM move this key to other drive (disk D, USB Stick...)
.......
Create PLCSIM key with serial number 0000****9
with ALM move this key to other drive (disk D, USB Stick...)

In program ALM see the transferred key - Inside of one file SIFLA1PLS0504.EKB some keys with different serial numbers

OK, I've done that but that's not what I'm asking for. I made a yellow disk with S7 v5.4 key on it. In ALM the key shows once in the list but has 25 keys.

How do I make more like this one ?

I know the short keys have been finished now but I still use them.
Especially in the case of Step5.
Could you help me find out how this was done please , it would be a great help for me to distribute keys in this way around my site.
I have many PC's and many PLC systems.

I'm just interested to see how it was done.

Need change 2 bytes
EKB_000A Byte, Counter of licence installation
EKB_001A Word, Number EKB on floppy disk

Hi again. Thanks for the info. I can atleast see how its done now. However, if I make a licence have 25 keys, they still only show in ALM as 1 key. Is this because they are old keys and I'm using ALM 3.x ?

Because you can inrease counter only in floppy discette !
