Can anyone tell me how i can generate the source of a F block, or otherwise how can i generate F-block's from a source

Hi,

First you can generate source block by opening your ladder editor then close the fc or fb you open then goto file generate source

2nd you can generate fb or fc from source block by compiling it.

Hello

Create sources files from FC, FB, DB.......blocks

1.In the program editor, select the menu command File > Generate Source File.

2.In the dialog box, select the source file folder in which you want to create the new source file.

3.Enter a name for the source file in the text box.

4.In the "Select STEP 7 Blocks" dialog box, select the block(s) which you want to generate as the given source file. The selected blocks are displayed in the right list box.

5.Confirm with "OK."

One continuous STL source file is created from the selected blocks and is displayed in a window for editing.

Create FC, FB, DB.......blocks from source

Just insert source in your S7 project and make compile and will receive new block.

This wil not works for F-blocks (safety). When i try generate source i can't select a F-block.

See in manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/W ... en/2201072 how this block can be change, add and create new.... Procedure is not simple like normal FC or FB...
